Terms of use

These terms apply to purchases in the a5meat.lv online store operated by SIA "A5 Meat" (the “Seller”). By placing an order, the Buyer confirms they have read and agree to these terms.
1. General

These terms may be updated; the version available at the time of ordering applies.
2. Order and contract
An order is deemed accepted once the Buyer receives a confirmation e-mail. The distance contract between the Buyer and the Seller enters into force upon payment.
The Seller may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable or there is an obvious error in price or description, refunding any amount already paid.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include value added tax (VAT). Delivery fees are added separately according to the delivery zone.
Payment is made online by card. Payments are processed by Stripe; the Seller does not store the Buyer’s card details.
4. Delivery
Delivery is carried out under the Shipping terms. Zones, fees and timeframes are listed in the “Delivery” section.
5. Right of withdrawal
As the goods are perishable food, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. Quality matters are governed by the “Returns & withdrawal” section.
6. Liability
The Seller ensures the goods conform to the order at the time of delivery. The Seller is not liable for loss of quality caused by improper storage after receipt.
7. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes are resolved by negotiation. Failing agreement, the Buyer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (ptac.gov.lv) or a court.
